A Message from Dr. Mulhollen

It is an exciting time to be a Maverick and I am so grateful to be part of the Mannsdale Elementary family.  I am thrilled to be the principal of grades K-2 at this wonderful school. I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to our campus and our website.  I appreciate your patience with the traffic situation.  We are a growing, bustling and busy campus!  It is a joy to work with so many wonderful families from our community.

My husband Steven and I have been married for seventeen years and have two children, Parker and Mallory.  We are active members of Broadmoor Baptist Church.  I love reading, walking, shopping and collecting children's books.  I started my career as a fourth grade teacher in the Clinton Public Schools then served as a librarian/grant coordinator at East Flora Elementary in Madison County.  I taught on the college level for several years training new teachers and supervising student teachers for both Mississippi College and Mississippi State University.
I encourage you to read with your child for at least 20 minutes a day.  Reading aloud is so beneficial. It is also important that you encourage your children to read to you.  I am passionate about teaching kids to love reading!  I look forward to meeting and getting to know each of you. I also encourage you to join the PTO.  This organization provides many "extras" to help make our school successful.  Please feel free to email me at if you have any questions or concerns.
