Dear Rosa Scott Parents, Teachers & Students,
Summer has rolled along and school is drawing near again. We are excited to welcome the class of 2019 to Rosa Scott! Our staff is excited to start the 2015-2016 school year and we have been preparing for your arrival for several months. All things will be new and there will be many opportunities to make this school year the best of your school career.
As a student entering Rosa Scott, I want to assure you that you will have every opportunity to be comfortable and involved in your school. Our entire staff is available to answer any questions and give you guidance as you work through the transition. Let me encourage you to be involved in school clubs, organizations, and other extracurricular activities during your year at Rosa Scott.
Parents are encouraged to be involved. We are so very blessed to live in such an outstanding community and be a part of a wonderful school district. This is due in large part because our parents care and are involved and supportive of the efforts to educate your children. Even in our high school years, as we are encouraging responsibility, children still need your involvement, support, and love. Please feel free to contact counselors, teachers, staff, or principals with any questions or concerns.
This will be a big year with the additions of MacBooks, homecoming, career fair, spring social event, as well as many other activities. Be sure to start your year with good grades by completing the summer reading and preparing for the activities the first days of school.
Welcome to your first year of high school. We look forward to seeing you at schedule pick up and on August 6th!
Sean Brewer, Principal
