The above photo is of the earth at approximately 95,000 feet!

Screaming back to earth!

The above image is a shot where the balloon had popped and was screaming back to earth at 182 mph vertical speed!

The balloon and payload were both coming back down so fast due to the lack of air. The parachute did not catch until it got back down to around 35,000 feet.

Meetings will be on Wednesdays from 3:15 till 4:45. The only exception is when I cannot make it. In that case I will most likely move the meeting to Wednesday for that week or cancel it.

New club activities: Club e-newsletter to be sent out all over the world. This will be geared toward youth, but will have stories and articles that can be read for adults as well.
