PAthways Gifted Program

 PA students come to class five hours a week.  Our goal is to provide students with the following: 

• activities that emphasize the process of learning rather than content

• activities that emphasize divergent thinking rather than convergent thinking

• opportunities to explore ideas through creative problem solving and reasoning

• a diversity of learning experiences, instructional methods, materials, and activities

• opportunities for students to grow in their understanding of themselves and others

• activities which focus on our curriculum strands: thinking skills, creativity, self-directed study, group dynamics, communication, leadership, visual/performing arts, career exploration/life skills, and socio-emotional guidance
