Welcome Message

Welcome to Seventh Grade English and Reading!  Please make sure that you follow the rules and classroom guidelines.  Students are to come in and copy down daily assignments or check weekly syllabus for any possible changes or corrections.  Make sure that you copy down the assignments for your class period as some of the classes may vary.  Periodic postings or reminders will be on the homework blog so look for changes and updates.  Again, welcome and I hope you have a great seventh grade year!

Charl M. McCrorey is from Jackson, Mississippi and moved to Madison five years ago.  She attended Ole Miss and Belhaven College and received a BA in English.  This is her eighteenth year to teach school.  She has taught Senior English, Advanced Placement Literature, Honors Eleventh Grade, Ninth Grade and American Novel. This is her seventh year at Olde Towne to teach Seventh Grade English and Reading.  She has been named Teacher of the Year three times and STAR Teacher twice.
