Troubleshooting TestNav Testing: (Administrators & Proctors)

  1. Make sure ALL STUDENTS restart their computers (logging in as they normally do) before looking for the TestNav app.
  2. Be sure to uncheck "Reopen windows at login" to avoid all apps opening.
  3. Once students login to their MacBooks, instruct them to click F4 to bring up the “Launchpad”.
  4. When inside the Launchpad, the TestNav App should be there.

  5. The students should be able to login to the TestNav App for testing.

If the TestNav App is NOT there:
  1. Have students to go to “Self Service” in the “Launchpad” and download the TestNav App.
  2. Once the download is complete, have them to restart their computers. (Don't forget to uncheck "Reopen windows at login")
  3. After login, instruct them to click F4 to bring up the “Launchpad”.
  4. When inside the Launchpad, the TestNav App should be there.
  5. The students should be able to login to the TestNav App for testing.

If the TestNav app cannot be downloaded or there are other technical issues, technicians will be on hand to assist on the day of testing.
