Homework Policy:
I do not assign homework in a one-size-fits-all method. Homework is varied and individualized and will not be assigned every night. The homework in this class will be one of the following types:
Work that the teacher assigns an individual student or group of students based on what concepts/skills they need to practice
Work that the student did not finish in class and needs to finish in order to meet a deadline
Research the student needs to do for a writing assignment
Purchasing/collecting supplies for an in-class project/assignment
Getting a parent to sign something.
Therefore, it is CRUCIAL that each student have an assignment notebook/planner in which to write down his or her specific homework assignment.
My daughter showed me an article that I would like to share with you (Click on the link to see the article). It's called "9 Things Teachers Wish Parents Knew" and it's very interesting. I hope it helps us to build a good relationship so that we can work together to help your child develop and grow as a person and as a learner.
