This is my 13th year at Madison Avenue Elementary. I have been enjoying this profession for 28 years! I have taught in Desoto County, Scott County, Petal, and Madison in grades K-4 -- and I always find every year to be a new adventure!
I graduated from Mississippi State in Elementary Education-- Go Bulldogs! I am a National Board Certified Teacher (2001-2011), Renewed (2011-2021).
My goal for my students is to give them a love for learning and to challenge and motivate them to always do their best.
I have been married for 37 wonderful years! and have two terrific children. When I'm not at school, I enjoy going to the movies, reading, traveling, sewing, and tinkering on the computer.
