Hello everyone and
WELCOME to my website! I am so excited about being employed with the Madison County School District teaching Madison County students! I love what I do and I look forward to working with my students each day. I am originally from Wayne County, MS and I have lived in the Jackson area for seven years. I am a registered nurse and I have been teaching for seventeen years. Each and every day that I teach is an adventure.. I hope to inspire my students to be as passionate about healthcare and helping others as I am. My educational background includes the following:
- Matty Hersee School of Nursing Diploma in Nursing
- University of Southern Mississippi BS - Nursing
- University of Southern Mississippi M.Ed - Vocational Education
- Mississippi State University Ed.S - Educational Administration
I have a AAA teaching certificate (science, health & health occupations) and I am National Board certified. I am a Certified Nurse Assistant instructor, an American Heart CPR instructor and I have obtained IC3 computer technology certification. I am looking forward to a great year with my students where failure will not be an option.
