Welcome to third grade!

I am so excited about this year! We have so many great things planned. My goal as your child's teacher is to provide a healthy environment for your child to reach his or her potential, both academically and socially.  I believe that communication between parents and teachers can create a positive impact in the education of each student.  Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns that you may have throughout the year.

About the Teacher

This will be my fifth year working at Madison Crossing and my second as a classroom teacher.  I have experience in K-3 as an assistant teacher and a long-term substitute.  I graduated from Madison Central in 2000 and then attended Mississippi State University (GO DAWGS!).  When I began working as an assistant teacher, I returned to school at Belhaven where I received a degree in Elementary Education in December 2010.  I love traveling, reading, sports, music, and the Mississippi State Bulldogs!
