About the Teacher:
I am originally from Huntsville, Texas “Home of the Fighting Hornets.” I graduated from Huntsville High School, and then attended Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, TX. I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. I later earned a Master of Arts in Teaching from Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas. I have been teaching for 17 years and have taught in the following states: Texas, Arkansas, and now Mississippi. I have been married for 16 years and we have 2 wonderful daughters, Kyndall (5thgrade) and McKenzie (3rdgrade). We also have a gorgeous dog, Roddy. I love sports, basketball and softball are my favorite. My latest hobby is scrapbooking. As a family we enjoy attending church, traveling, and most importantly spending time together.
I am extremely excited to be a part of the Madison Crossing Family and I look forward to the students in my class having a fun and successful year in third grade!
